Emily has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of litigation in both state and federal court, and at the trial court and appellate court levels. While focusing her practice on complex and commercial litigation, Emily has experience in an assortment of areas, including fiduciary, insurance, and employment litigation, as well as complex family law disputes.
Emily earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2018. During undergrad, Emily externed for the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, Civil Division in the Lands and Natural Resources Section. Emily then attended LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center where she received her J.D/D.C.L. in 2021. Emily graduated cum laude and was a Senior Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. While a Junior Associate for the Louisiana Law Review, Emily was awarded the Henri Capitant Award for best student article appearing in the Louisiana Law Review on a civil law or comparative law topic with a core emphasis on civil law. After graduating, Emily clerked for the Honorable David C. Joseph in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Born and raised in New Orleans, Emily returned home after her clerkship and practiced at a New Orleans based firm for three years before joining the firm in 2025.
