Ben focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and employment issues. He has extensive experience representing corporate clients in cases involving contractual disputes, allegations of fraud and bad-faith, fiduciary duty claims, and derivative claims. Ben also assists individuals in resolving other sensitive matters, such as succession disputes, tort claims, and professional liability claims.
Prior to joining the firm, Ben practiced in one of the nation’s premier employment law practice groups at an AM Law 50 firm. Ben continues to advise and represent employers and employees on a wide range of employment law issues, including discrimination and wrongful termination disputes, employee benefit matters, and issues concerning non-compete and non-solicitation agreement.
Ben graduated with honors from Tulane University Law School. He was a managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, a member of the Tulane’s Moot Court Board, and a member of a Tulane Moot Court competition team. During law school, Ben also externed at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal for the State of Louisiana.
Originally from a suburb of Philadelphia, Ben moved to New Orleans in 2008. Ben and his wife, Caroline, met as undergraduates at Tulane University and live in Mid-City with their dog, Winnie.
Admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
