Thomas has more than 20 years of litigation experience handling all types of civil litigation with a particular emphasis on complex commercial disputes.   Thomas’ practice spans across many areas of law including business, construction, employment, intellectual property, and oil and gas litigation.  Thomas has extensive experience in both state and federal courts at the district and appellate levels and also practices before administrative boards.  Thomas has successfully resolved many cases through arbitration and mediation.

Thomas joined the firm in the spring of 1999, shortly after it was formed, upon graduating Order of the Coif from Louisiana State University law school. Thomas also received a Bachelor of Arts degree (history) from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
