Thomas was the firm’s first associate. He joined the firm in spring of 1999, upon graduating Order of the Coif from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Thomas also received a Bachelor of Arts degree (history) from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

Thomas has a broad practice across many areas of law with a particular emphasis in the fields of intellectual property, construction, land use planning, and media and entertainment law. Thomas has extensive litigation experience in state and federal district courts, appellate courts, and before administrative boards. Thomas has successfully resolved several cases through alternative dispute resolution (mediations and arbitrations).

Thomas is a life-long New Orleanian, having graduated from Jesuit High School in 1991. He lives in Mid-City with his wife, Kerry, and daughter, Jane. Thomas enjoys live music, travelling, and playing poker.
